Loughborough is a town in the Charnwood borough of Leicestershire, close to the cities of Nottingham and Derby. It has the world’s largest bell foundry, making bells for the Carillon war memorial, St Paul’s Cathedral and York Minster. The town showcases a number of original art deco buildings, including the building that currently houses the town’s cinema. Loughborough has five museums; the largest being the centrally located Charnwood Museum which houses a range of exhibits reflecting the natur
al history, geology, industry and history of the area. The Loughborough Town Hall puts on a range of events, including concerts, exhibitions, musicals, comedy shows and a Christmas pantomime.
