Szechenyi Istvan University Szechenyi Istvan University (SZE) is located in Gyor, Hungary. The university was established in 2002. It has an excellent reputation in electrical and mechanical engineering and has a partnership with the German car manufacturer Audi. The University provides education, as well as a unique training and research in the region, which primarily serves the engineering focused production activities, building on the North-Transdanubian economy and its social and institutional environment. Alongside education, there are several opportunities for entertainment in Gyor and at the university. Every year there is a Szechenyi-week, where famous Hungarian people, writers, com
edians… etc. are invited to attend one of the opportunities to do sports including; rowing, soccer, swimming etc. or even racing with alternative-operated vehicles which challenge each other at the parking lot in front of the university. In addition to the main sights of the city’s center by the City Hall tower, where one can have a majestic view over the city and its surroundings and see Gyor from a different perspective.
