Roanoke College is a private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts college located in Salem, Virginia, United States. In fact, a small number of non-degree-seeking women, mostly from Elizabeth College in Salem, were previously enrolled when the college has become coeducational in 1930. Roanoke offers 35 majors, 57 minors and concentrations, and pre-professional programs in dentistry, engineering, law, medicine, ministry, nursing, pharmacy, and veterinary medicine.
