Near the Persian Gulf and the countries of Qatar and Bahrain there is an alluring oasis named Al-Ahsa. In this oasis is the city of Hofuf, known as one of the Kingdom's main cultural centers and home to many prominent families. Around the city are the 16th century Qasr Ibrahim, historic souks, and the first mosque built in eastern Arabia, filling Hofuf with historical gems. medicine, dentistry, and agriculture. Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy climbing and exploring the caves of Al-Qara Hill, and kids and adults alike are wowed by the largest fountain in the world with a laser lights display at the King Abdullah Environmental Park.
