Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) is the oldest technical university in Russia east of the Urals. It was founded in 1896; however, it was until 1934 when the three divided parts of the university got reunited to form a new institute that would be named the Tomsk Polytechnic Institute. The University offers a wide range of dynamic and relevant study programs in several fields of study at all levels both in Russian and in English.
