The Nathan campus of Griffith University, the foundation campus of the university, is situated in tranquil bushland on the edge of Toohey Forest just fifteen minutes from Brisbane’s Central Business District. It is home to 13,000 students, and specializes in the fields of business and government, science and aviation, engineering and IT, environment, law, and humanities and languages.

Nathan is a southern suburb of Brisbane, Australia. It was named after Sir Matthew Nathan, Governor of Queensland. It is a culturally diverse suburb.
