Middle East Technical University (METU), established in 1956, is a public technical university located in Ankara, Turkey. METU Erdemli campus, the first campus of METU out of Ankara, is in Mersin on the Mediterranean coast. METU offers about 40 undergraduate programs within 5 faculties, and 97 masters and 62 doctorate programs within 5 graduate schools, with extra focus on the fields of Engineering and Natural Sciences. In addition, METU provides its students with several services and facilities including IT services, a library, a medical center & health services, accommodation, disability services, banking facilities, sports facilities and more.
