Población: 4,000
On the northern coast of Malta is the peaceful town of Pembroke with a population of a little under 4,000. Visitors will find rocky beaches, clear waters, a marine park, and plenty of places to explore, all within the safety of the island with its walkability and friendly residents. Though the modern city of Pembroke is considered Malta's newest settlement with modern amenities, cafes, and restaurants, structures in the area date back to the early 17th century since it was once used for watchtowers and military encampments. The polygonal Pembroke Fort and the Pembroke Battery, both dating to the late 19th century, give a picture of what life was like when Malta was a British colony, and the White Rocks Ghost Town built at the end of British colonization has become a canvas for graffiti artists that visitors can climb through and enjoy. Life in Pembroke offers a slow pace, perfect for studying, relaxing, and enjoying the scenic surroundings.
